Educational programs such as “Talking with Your Doctor”

Intellectual wellness:

Discussion groups: current events, book review, creative writing

Speakers on a wide variety of topics

Vocational wellness:

Volunteer activities to benefit the Center’s participants and to benefit community projects

Constructive activities like arts and crafts, quilting, genealogy

Emotional wellness:

Reminiscence discussion groups

One-on-one counseling

Social wellness:

Games: bridge and other card games, pool, Scrabble, Peruvian frog game, Sudoku classes

Parties, musical and cultural entertainment, movies

Day trips to points of interest, shopping trips

Spiritual wellness:

Celebration of veterans, people over age 90, couples married more than 50 years

Memorial service for departed friends and relatives
